Azimuth was founded by highly experienced professionals with one goal in mind — to build and operate a firm, using our collective industry knowledge, that would best serve clients. Everything we do is in pursuit of this objective.

Your financial situation does not have to be complicated or rely on convoluted products or strategies. Rather than complicate your situation, we seek clarity to raise your level of understanding. We believe an important component of our job is to ensure that you understand the elements of your investment strategy, what you own, how each investment fits within your strategy, and the fees you are paying. Additionally, we report information to you in a straightforward manner to fulfill these intentions.

Our clients have grown their assets in unique ways and expect more from their advisors. Consequently, meeting clients’ needs requires flexibility to mold our approach to each client’s best interest. We deliver this flexible approach in the following ways:

  • Building investment portfolios individually for each client, rather than imposing a standardized – and rigid — investment allocation approach.
  • Taking your entire financial picture into account when building an investment allocation. This includes your private assets, real estate, and other holdings.
  • Promoting a firmwide culture, ability, and willingness to leverage the entire highly experienced Azimuth team to benefit our clients. We loop in various team members into client relationships, based on their relevant expertise, to best serve each client’s individual needs. There are no “silos” in our firm.
  • Placing an emphasis on finding the optimal solution for clients, not what is the best for the firm or an individual advisor. This is often best achieved in collaboration with outside professionals.

We believe that done properly collaboration with third-party professionals can result in better client outcomes than an exclusive, “one-stop shop” mindset. The emphasis on optimal client solutions includes working closely with outside professionals such as attorneys and accountants where appropriate. This collaboration reduces the risk of groupthink, can enhance accountability, and can generate better ideas from differing perspectives – all of benefit to the client.

We believe the knowledge that you are a client of Azimuth is your asset, not ours. We don’t promote our firm by divulging clients’ identities or their financial situations.
