Jeff Shanahan
Director – IT
Jeff Shanahan has nearly twenty-five years of experience managing information systems and security. He is responsible for direct management and/or oversight of third-party providers for all of the firm’s IT systems and security. He has managed IT operations and security for a number of businesses in several different industry sectors. Through the years, he has obtained vast experience working with many different types of networks in various configurations with a focus on security.
Jeff’s extensive systems and security training includes network administration, IT operations management, hardware maintenance and installation, Operations Security (OPSEC), customer satisfaction, physical security, security incident response, mitigating antivirus/malware incidents, and troubleshooting.
Prior to joining Azimuth, Jeff worked as a consultant with a managed service provider handling the IT systems needs for a number of clients as well as managing the firm’s internal systems infrastructure.
Jeff started his career in the United States Navy as an IT technician . During his service he was stationed overseas on board an aircraft carrier in the IT department, which included managing advanced security level systems.
