Mark Van Faussien

Mark Van Faussien has more than thirty years of experience involving investment research, portfolio management, client service, business development, and firm management. He is a member of our Investment Committee and is responsible for leading our portfolio management activities for many of our private client accounts.

Mark joined Azimuth in 2013, with his colleagues from Wilson, Kemp & Associates, Inc., to preserve the firm’s legacy of providing individualized investment advice. Previously, Mark served as President and CEO of Wilson Kemp, an investment advisory firm he helped grow to more than $1.6 billion in assets under management. He worked with several of the firm’s largest relationships and developed a proficiency in advising fiduciaries of multigenerational trusts and estate plans. Mark started his career as a Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch.

Mark graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and later earned an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Mark has served many organizations and his local community, including the Archdiocese of Detroit as chair of the Finance Council and a member of the Investment Committee, trustee of Guest House, board member for the Pope Francis Center-Detroit, and a trustee for the Mt. Elliott Cemetery Association.
