Paul Ragheb

Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director

"We focus on building individual portfolios from the bottom up. Each individual security is thoroughly scrutinized and analyzed before we invest in it, and we are constantly managing our portfolios. This is a painstaking process, but we believe it leads to better outcomes."
Paul Ragheb has over twenty-five years of experience in the financial markets, with both buy-side and sell-side firms. He is a member of our Investment Committee and leads our fixed income portfolio management and trade execution activities. His extensive trading experience includes block equity, fixed income, currencies, and derivative products. Paul has developed methods to monitor markets for attractive investment opportunities, particularly within fixed income.

Paul previously served as the head of trading and fixed income for a large independent investment advisor with over $2 billion of assets under management. In that capacity, Paul managed the fixed income investment portfolios as well as the firm’s trading desk, including equities, bonds, derivatives and currencies. Paul also previously served as Vice President of Sales and Trading with Spear, Leeds & Kellogg (subsequently acquired by Goldman, Sachs & Co.), where he worked with institutional portfolio managers, mutual funds, and commercial banks on their bond portfolios.

Paul graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics. He has also satisfactorily completed a number of industry registration and examination requirements. In addition, Paul is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

He has been active in several charities in Southeast Michigan including Toys for Tots and currently serves as a board member and member of the Finance Committee for the Michigan Opera Theatre and Chairman of the Investment Oversight Committee for U.S. Sailing.
