Paul previously served as the head of trading and fixed income for a large independent investment advisor with over $2 billion of assets under management. In that capacity, Paul managed the fixed income investment portfolios as well as the firm’s trading desk, including equities, bonds, derivatives and currencies. Paul also previously served as Vice President of Sales and Trading with Spear, Leeds & Kellogg (subsequently acquired by Goldman, Sachs & Co.), where he worked with institutional portfolio managers, mutual funds, and commercial banks on their bond portfolios.
Paul graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics. He has also satisfactorily completed a number of industry registration and examination requirements. In addition, Paul is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
He has been active in several charities in Southeast Michigan including Toys for Tots and currently serves as a board member and member of the Finance Committee for the Michigan Opera Theatre and Chairman of the Investment Oversight Committee for U.S. Sailing.
