Daniel J. McEnroe

Dan McEnroe has more than thirty years of experience in investment management and corporate finance roles involving a broad range of asset classes including equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity and venture capital. He serves on our Investment Committee and leads many of our operational, business development and client service activities. In addition, he advises clients on a range of financial and portfolio management matters, including assessing investment opportunities, corporate finance, and alternative assets.
Dan has previously served as Managing Director for a private advisory and investment firm. Dan also held executive positions with the Penske Corporation, including Treasurer of Detroit Diesel Corporation, a publicly held subsidiary with revenues in excess of $2 billion. His responsibilities included debt, equity and lease financing activities, management of strategic direct investments and joint ventures, merger and acquisition activities, cost reduction initiatives, investor relations as well as cash and risk management. Prior to Penske, Dan also served as portfolio manager with an institutional investment management firm, directly overseeing assets with a value over $400 million.
Dan received a BBA with distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with a concentration in Finance and Accounting and earned an MBA degree with distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He has attained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
Dan has served as a board member and/or senior advisor for a number of public and private entities involved in investment management, manufacturing, distribution, technology and business services. In this capacity he has chaired audit and compensation committees and has been a member of executive and credit committees. His advisory activities have included strategic planning, improving financial reporting and performance measures, evaluating key personnel and treasury management. Dan also previously served on the Alumni Board of Governors at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
