Doris Tuerk Ward

Director of Operations

Doris Tuerk Ward has more than twenty-five years of experience with investment and brokerage operations, and is responsible for a number of the firm’s operations, including portfolio reporting and custodial relationships. She is also a primary resource in addressing client service matters and additionally manages several of the firm’s administrative functions.

Doris has served in many senior roles as an executive officer for bank broker/dealers, independent and NYSE brokerage firms. She was formerly the Operations Manager for Comerica Securities, and she also previously served for ten years as President of Standard Brokerage Services Inc., a subsidiary of Standard Federal Bank and ABN AMRO, Inc. Prior to Standard Brokerage she served as Chief Operations Officer at Equitas America LLC, an independent broker/dealer and insurance agency. Other management positions include Retail Operations Manager – Comerica Securities Inc, Retail Trading – Shearson Lehman Hutton, and Operations Manager – Independence One Brokerage Services, Inc.

Doris graduated from Wayne State University with a BS degree in Finance and Business Economics. She has satisfactorily completed the following industry registration and examination requirements: General Securities Principal, Series 24; Options Securities Principal, Series 4, Municipal Securities Principal, Series 53; General Securities Representative, Series 7; Uniform Securities Agent State Law Series 63; and Uniform Investment Advisor Law Series 65.
